Saturday, August 8:
Bike the Great Allegheny Passage, ending in Cumberland Maryland. 25 miles, the last 24 miles are ALL downhill. We will get picked up and driven to Spring Gap to camp for the night, car-supported.

Sunday, August 9:
Bike the C&O Canal (downstream, so all downhill) to the Paw Paw campground for another car-supported camp out.

Drive to the trailhead near Harper’s Ferry, on the Maryland side. Hike north along the Appalachian Trail for 6.5 miles, and spend the night at the Campton Gap shelter.

Thursday, August 13:
Hike 11.5 miles to Pine Knob Shelter (about 1/2 mile north of the I-70/US-40 lot) and spend the night there.

Friday, August 14:
Hike 2 miles north to Annapolis Rock to see the sights, then back to the US-40 lot to get picked up. Hopefully find a great little place for burgers on the way home - but that is debatable.
